McRINO And Levin Demand Obama Take Military Action Against Assad Regime In Syria… | Weasel Zippers
Senate Armed Services Committee chief Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) joined with Senate Republicans on Thursday to demand that President Obama take military action to end the Syrian civil war.
Levin and Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) sent a letter to the White House urging Obama to consider “limited military options,” including airstrikes, to topple the regime of embattled Syrian president Bashar Assad.
“We believe there are credible options at your disposal, including limited military options, that would require neither putting U.S. troops on the ground nor acting unilaterally,” the lawmakers wrote.
Look this is none of our (America’s) affair. There are no good sides to this conflict. We either side with the Al Nusra Front (thugs with terrorist leanings) or Assad (a hereditary dictator). The U.S. does not win no matter who comes out on top. We need to sit this one out, and let the terrorist and dictator forces slug it out. The more they kill of each other, the less we will have to do when the time comes for America to deal with the winner.
This is an internal Syrian problem. We need to stay out of it.-conelrad
